Stuck in a moment, and you can't get out of it

Damn. All this talk of school makes me want to go back. Unfortunately, move in week is Sept 11-17. So I'm stuck here a little while longer with not much to do. Which brings me to my question: If you had one week with close to zero obligations, what would you do? So far I've come up with these ideas:

-Get in better shape. I often feel that I am doomed to weigh 143 pounds for eternity, regardless of how much I eat or exercise or whatever. I am positive that when I die, my ashes/skeleton/cryogenically preserved remains will weigh 143 pounds as well. I wish that people on Carbs-are-the-antichrist diets who are losing weight would tell me where to find it.

-Play guitar a lot. This was all I wanted to do for years and years. But it's hard to be a rock star when you don't have a band. Note to self: make greater effort to find musicians at school this year.

-Move to Boston with my sister. See, my sister is going to Suffolk grad school, and she lives in an apartment on the hill. This option is tempting because it's a very interesting area with a lot of stuff to do. Unfortunately, the apartment is smaller than your bathroom and I haven't run this idea by Justine yet.

-Read, read, read. I could do coursework ahead of schedule, Hermione-style. Yeah. This one needs work.

So unless you can put down your soccer balls or mortars or textbooks or whatever and think for me, I'm going to have to go find something interesting to do.
