making a positive attitude
psychosteveo gave me the impression that he would be at the wrestling match last night. But, it seems he was in NY. However, I did like it because it was my first live performance. The characters and performances were a little... weird. But, the acrobatics were amazing.
The b-day party was lame. No one from the roller derby team showed-up. Hung around for a bit, then went home. But, the night did turn itself around...
Saturday night kinda turned out to be good. Being in a low mood, I bought some comfort food (junk food) with the inention of eating while watching a online video, then going to bed.
But, as I was online, around 11:25pm, I get a message from a friend who insists that I go to Rocky Horror with her. Trying to learn from my past mistakes... I put the food away, put on my boots, and head out the door; determined to do whatever it takes to salvage the night.
At Rocky Horror, I see a few old friends and we have fun at the theater, then went with the cast to a diner afterwards.
As for today and my b-day with the family.... boooooriiiiing. It must be because there are so few of us and we all have our own lives now that we kinda just sit around, watch a movie, eat some food, and that is it. We do interact a bit, but we don't do anything fun together. I dunno.
Been on-and-off the computer for most of the afrernoon and evening. Doing homework in between and thining about things to do this week during my vacation.
