[RP] About Time

(Co-written with imnot_likeyou, Claudia is her NPC. Megan is mine.)

Rachel climbed the steps from the Metro and pulled her jacket a little tighter around herself. Her friend Megan caught up to her and looped her arm through Rachel's. "Relax, Rach."

"I'm trying," she muttered.

"Just think of this as any other night we're going out for drinks."

"Easy for you to say, it is any other night for you."

"Except for the fact that instead of trying to find you a hot boy that might break you out of that little shell, I need to find you a hot girl."

Rachel's cheeks flushed red and she paused at the door to the bar. "Meg."

Megan smiled and pulled the door open. "You'll be fine, sweetie. You're the hot girl that everyone else should be wanting."

She smiled slightly at that, her face ducking. "Yeah, whatever." She walked inside the bar and looked around for a free spot. She saw a small, dark booth open and led the way over. It wasn't a bar they had been to before, but after some research on Megan's part, it was a good place for their...endeavor.

Megan slid into the booth across from Rachel and started looking around. "From what I understand, there should be plenty of straight guys here too." She shot Rachel a grin. "For me. And if you change your mind."

"Uh-huh." Rachel nodded and quickly looked around for the bartender.

Claudia was perched at the bar with a glass of wine, looking almost bored. It was a slow night tonight, and while there were a few people who looked almost interesting to talk to, she'd seen all of them before. She knew most of them by name if not through conversation, and she was looking for someone new. Taking her glass in her hand, she started to turn around, eyes scanning the crowd for anyone of interest and trying to find the right person to bump into.

It wasn't long before the girls both had drinks in front of them. Megan was distracting Rachel by regaling a story from a recent Comm class. She was sucsessful and soon had Rachel listening closely and laughing.

"-damn if the professer isn't hot."

"That's what your education is all about after all," Rachel added.

"Exactly," Megan grinned.

It didn't take long for her eyes to land on the two girls in the corner. She definitely hadn't seen them before. Shifting a bit on the stool, she looked both of them over before she heard Jerry, the bartender, talking over her shoulder.

"You're out on the prowl tonight."

"Shut up," she rolled her eyes. "What do you know about those two?"

He shrugged. "College kids. Why? Wanna take one of 'em home?" He paused as a bright smile crossed his face. "Both?"

"Get your mind out of the gutter, Jerry," she sighed, turning back around again. "I've just never seen them before. I wanted to buy them a 'welcome to Pandora' drink."

"So refills for whatever they're having?"

"Sure. Why not?"

When the drinks arrived, Rachel was a little confused. When they were pointed to the girl at the bar, Megan raised a brow. "She's pretty," she said quietly.

Rachel looked and sighed. "Mmhmm."

"You don't think so?"

"No..I mean, yeah. She is."

When pointed out to the two girls, she gave a bit of a wave back in their direction, before biting her lip and seeing if she should wait at the bar or move over and start talking to them. They were both pretty cute in their own way, and she wouldn't mind getting to know either of them better. Megan gave her a slight nod, then smirked at Rachel.

"What are you doing?" Rachel gasped.

"Doing what you brought me here to do. Help." And she took a sip of her drink.

She considered for another moment, before pushing off the stool and starting to head closer. She was wearing an a-line black dress with a scooping neckline that came down to her knees, and a pair of strappy heels. She made her way over, giving both girls a smile as she got there. "Hi. I'm Claudia."

Rachel smiled up at her shyly and nodded. Megan smiled more warmly and moved over to give Claudia somewhere to sit. "Hey. I'm Megan, and this is my friend Rachel."

"Hi," Rachel said softly. Megan had dressed Rachel in form-fitting, slinky black dress pants and a deep green sweater. Rachel's hair hung loose around her shoulders.

Claudia slid into the booth next to them, crossing her legs in front of her as she did. "Nice to meet you guys. This your first time here?"

"Yup," Megan nodded. "We thought it was time to try a few new places. Meet...new people."

"Always a good plan," she nodded. "How're you liking it so far?"

"Well we just got here, but it seems like nice place so far," Megan replied. Rachel was staying quiet.

"It's a great place," she nodded eagerly. "I enjoy coming here a lot."

Rachel got a slight kick under the table and she cleared her throat. "You..uh..live around D.C.?"

"Yeah, actually. I go to Georgetown."

"Oh," Rachel nodded. "Nice area."

"It is. It's a great school. Are you guys in school?"

"We are, down in Virginia," Rachel replied. "I had thought about Georgetown though."

"Great school but wasn't for you?"

"She chickened out," Megan answered for Rachel. Rachel gave her a glare. "Well you did. You told me so."

"Doesn't mean you have to tell the world," Rachel muttered, looking down as her cheeks burned red.

"Chickened out?" Claudia frowned. "I don't understand."

"I just...wanted to be closer to home.," Rachel said, looking up. "D.C. felt like a big move on my own."

Claudia considered that for a moment, before shrugging. "That's fair enough. I'm from LA."

"Wow, I'd love to see L.A. one day," Megan sighed.

"I'm happy on the East Coast," Rachel shrugged.

"It's a great town. Smog sucks, but so much fun."

Rachel crinkled her nose. "I'm happy with DC. Even over New York."

Megan smirked and looked into her glass. "Hmm, empty. I should get more. Back in a sec!" Then she hopped up and wandered off. Rachel inwardly groaned.

Claudia smirked a bit as she watched her go. "She trying to get you out of your shell or something?"

"Always," she said, not looking up at Claudia. "Though I think her main goal is the cute guy sitting at the bar."

"Of course," Claudia nodded. "Leave the weird girl who bought you drinks with the wingman and go chat up the hottie. I know that dance well."

"You're calling me the wingman?" She did look up this time.

"Maybe?" Claudia asked back, cringing slightly. "Am I wrong?"

"I don't think she really needs one. She's...gorgeous and outgoing."

"Yeah, she is," Claudia nodded. "But there's something to be said for the gorgeous and the introverted."

That got a smile from Rachel. "I'm not sure Meg knows how to be introverted."

Claudia lit up a bit at the smile. "Hey, it works for some people. Not everybody."

Rachel shrugged and picked up her drink. "I guess so." She really wasn't sure what she was supposed to say to this girl, and she really hadn't picked up on any vibes, because she can be clueless at times.

Claudia shifted slightly, moving so that she was sitting in the rounded end of the booth, closer to Rachel. "So what about you? Are you the extrovert or the introvert?"

She noticed Claudia more with her closer and it was getting warm in the room. She cleared her throat. "Depends, I guess. My family is pretty good at bringing the extrovert out in me. You kinda have to be or you get trampled."

"Well, family's family," Claudia shrugged. "Everyone's always a little more willing to speak up with people they know well." Rachel nodded in agreement and fell silent, her nerves had shot up even more and she was really wishing Meg would come back. Claudia bit her lip slightly and inched even closer, her hand falling on Rachel's leg. "Am I being too forward? Cuz I can get my vibes confused sometimes ... "

She looked down at the hand on her leg, uncertain if she was nervous or uncomfortable. It was...something. She licked her lips slightly, trait picked up from her father, and didn't look up. "I'm..I'm not sure what vibes...I mean. I- I don't know. I'm...still figuring it out."

She frowned for a moment, before tilting her head to the side slightly. "You're trying to figure out if you go for boobs or dudes?"

Rachel chuckled a bit. "Yeah...I guess so."

"Well," Claudia smirked. "I find that the best measure for that, is actual practice."

Her cheeks flushed again. "I've heard that no one likes an experimenter."

She shrugged. "Well, I don't mind being experimented on. It can be fun."

"I...don't know. I mean...for all I know I could just be a straight girl who's terrible at getting guys." She brushed her hair behind her ear.

"Well why don't you kiss me and figure it out then?" Claudia said, moving closer so that she was close enough to touch.

"Here?" She glanced around, never a big fan of PDA to begin with.

"Nobody's watching, and it doesn't have to be a big one." She bit her lip. "Just a little peck."

Rachel considered this and looked around again. Then she took a big breath and closed her eyes, before leaning forward slightly. Claudia took it the rest of the way, moving her hand up to the side of her face lightly, before leaning in and kissing her softly. She kissed her back briefly, then pulled away, not quite opening her eyes yet.

"So what do you think?" she asked softly, not pulling back far and just letting her lips hover next to hers. "Good or bad?"

"Not...bad," Rachel murmured.

"Wanna try it again?"

She bit her lip. "I...not in front of all these people."

Claudia paused for a moment, before taking her hand. "Come with me." Rachel hesitated, before taking her hand and following. Claudia lead them towards a more secluded area of the club, one of the hallways leading back to the employee areas. She turned so that Rachel was between her and the wall, before leaning in closer, cupping her face with her hands and kissing her again. It took her a moment to relax, but she was soon kissing her back.

Her thumbs brushed against Rachel's cheekbones, before her hands moved down, resting on her hips as she pulled her closer. Rachel made a soft sound at that, but didn't pull away. Instead she let her arms go up around Claudia's shoulders.

Claudia just went with it, pulling her closer until she had to breathe and reluctantly breaking the kiss, letting her forehead rest against hers. "Good or bad?"

Rachel tried to catch her breath too, before nodding. "Good."

She grinned. "Good." Rachel nodded, not too sure of what to say. She was pretty sure she liked the feeling of having Claudia close like that though. "Wanna do it again?" She bit her lip, but nodded. Claudia grinned before leaning in again, this time deepening the kiss a bit. Rachel's nerves eased a bit this time around, but she was still uncertain. She liked the kiss though, so she just kept it up. Soon Claudia pulled back again, opening her eyes to look at her. "So are you sure yet?"

She breathed slowly and opened her eyes. "No, but...I know I liked that."

"Have you kissed guys before?"

"Yeah, a few."

"Did it feel like that?"

She shook her head slowly. Kissing guys hadn't always been bad, and there had been one boy she liked to kiss...but even that one didn't make her feel like this. Warm all over, shivery. Heat in the pit of her stomach...lower.

"Better or worse?"

"Worse."

Claudia nodded slowly, a bit of a smile crossing her face. "I think that usually mean you like girls more."

Rachel nodded, looking down. "Yeah..maybe so."

"That's not a bad thing, honey," she said softly, sliding her fingers under Rachel's chin and pushing her eyes up to look at her. "It can actually be a lot of fun."

She met Claudia's eyes and sighed. "Not that, I...I don't know what I'm supposed to do. Now."

"Well." she paused for a moment, before looking around. "You could go back in there, find your friend, and try and steal her way from Mr. Muscles. Or. You can come home with me, and I can show you how much fun this girl stuff really is." She knew she was being forward, but she couldn't help it. She liked them shy. "Give you the whole -- guided tour?"

Her cheeks burned red, but she was smiling as she glanced away. "I meant...the general now. Not just...the moment now." She licked her lips as she thought the idea over, though. She was liking being around her, and she wasn't in a rush to get rid of her. She also knew Meg was no company whatsoever from that point on. It was just that...even with the guys...she'd never just...gone home with someone. That seemed a little...scary. Exciting, but scary.

"The moment now is just as important as the general now, ya know," Claudia said, dropping her voice as she moved closer, tilting her head so that she was whispering in her ear. "And I promise that you won't be disappointed."

Chills ran through Rachel's bones and her eyes dropped shut. "Even-even if I don't know what I'm doing?" She breathed softly.

"Don't worry about that." Her lips brushed against her jaw, starting to back her into the wall more. "I've been told I'm a really good teacher."

"Mmm..I-I should..I-uh..dorm. Should get..." She was trying to do what she knew she should do and go back to school, but she was starting to have a hard time reminding just why she needed to.

"Should doesn't always mean you have to," Claudia murmured before kissing her again, this time hard and wanting. Rachel gasped into the kiss, but returned it. She could feel her blood pulsating. Everywhere. Claudia pushed her the rest of the way into the wall, before finally letting her hands start to wander, ghosting over her chest and sliding down her torso. A surprised moan slipped out of Rachel's throat, and goosebumps began to pop up, following Claudia's touch.

She reached the waistband of her pants, pausing for a moment to loop her fingers in her belt loops, before pulling back to whisper against her lips. "Come home with me." Rachel couldn't speak, so she just gave a slow, tentative nod. She wanted those hands on her again. Claudia grinned against her lips, before moving her fingers up to her hand. "C'mon." Rachel bit her lip, but took Claudia's hand. She had a bad feeling the girl could lead her anywhere at that point and she'd follow. Claudia led the way out of the club and back onto the street. "I don't live far."

"Okay." She nodded and pulled her jacket close.

A couple blocks down, Claudia was letting them into her building, leading the way up to her apartment as quickly as she could. Rachel just went with, getting more and more nervous as they went.

She let them in the door, closing it behind them before turning to look at her. "Relax," she said softly. "I'll go slow." She nodded and tried to relax some as she looked at Claudia. Claudia stepped closer, reaching for the coat and starting to push it off her shoulders gently, as she leaned in to kiss her. Rachel kissed her back, letting the jacket fall at her feet. Once that was gone, she wrapped her arms around Rachel's waist again, starting to drift them towards her bedroom. Rachel paused, not quite ready to go into the bedroom, but didn't pull from the kiss.

Claudia stopped with her, pulling back from the kiss slowly. "Where?"

"Can..we sit for a bit?"

She nodded. "Okay." Rachel nodded and slowly moved over to the couch to sit down. Claudia followed her, crossing one leg under her and relaxing against the couch. "Wanna talk a bit?"

She smiled shyly. "I think the kissing is easier."

She laughed. "Whatever makes you more comfortable."

Rachel started to ease up a bit. "I'm sorry..I don't mean to be so...I'm just awkward with new situations. And this...is very new."

"Hey, everybody's a little awkward when it comes to something new," Claudia smile slightly. "My first time? Totally uncomfortable. Both of them. You're not alone."

She looked down to play with the hem of her shirt. "Could be a bit because...with the guys...well..nothing really...good came of it."

"I get that," she nodded. "It felt so weird -- the hands were wrong, and they didn't kiss you right ... "

"Yeah. I..they...well..." She was starting to blush again. "They never really could get me off. I...started to not get the point."

"Same here. Even with a guy who I knew was supposed to be good in bed. It just -- didn't really click."

"I started to think I was...defective or something."

"Or meant to be celibate which really would have sucked."

"Not much of a difference at this point.." she said with a shrug.

"But now that you know you have the option ... ?"

"..I'd know if I'm defective or not?"

"Well, I was thinking more you wouldn't have to be celibate, but that too."

"Maybe," she nodded. She was still playing with her fingers, but she looked up at Claudia, shy smile still on her lips. "You...you think you can do what they couldn't?"

"You bet your pretty little ass I can," she said with a grin. "And I always did like a challenge."

Rachel looked down, her smile growing. She honestly didn't think she was that pretty. She felt pretty average most of the time. "I'm okay with trying."

"Good," Claudia grinned, before inching closer. "So can I kiss you again?"

"Yeah," she said softly with a nod.

Claudia slid her fingers under her chin again, angling her lips up so that she could kiss her more easily. Rachel leaned in and softly kissed her back. Claudia pushed herself up on her knees more, leaning into her a bit and cupping the side of her face with one hand. Rachel's head leaned back at that and she sighed into the kiss. She liked the feel of Claudia's hair against her skin. She just continued to hold to the kiss for a while, waiting for the signal that she could move on.

Her body relaxed more as the kiss went on, but it was still a bit of an awkward angle, so she started to shift her body slightly to find a more comfortable position. Claudia moved with her, settling in closer as she did. She pulled back after a bit to catch her breath again, and just sat there quietly, but more comfortably. She still wasn't sure if she was ready to initiate a move herself.

"Do you want to stay here?" Claudia asked softly as she stayed close. "Or do you wanna go somewhere where we can spread out a little more?"

"We could move," she nodded.

Claudia nodded before kissing her again, before pulling up and taking her hand to lead her back to her room. Rachel just quietly got up and went with her.

Once they got to the bedroom, she closed the door again, before starting to reach for the hem of Rachel's shirt. "If I'm going too fast, stop me."

"Okay," she nodded, as her heart pounded.

She slowly pulled Rachel's shirt off over her head, before leaning in to kiss her again, starting to back her towards the bed slowly. She moved as directed and stopped when she ran into the bed. Claudia's hands started to move lower, finding the waistband of her pants and undoing the fly. Rachel leaned into her hands, her own hands holding onto Claudia's arms. She pushed the pants down off her hips, running her hands over the skin lightly, before reaching for the zipper on her dress.

Rachel moaned softly at the touch and opened her eyes when she didn't feel it anymore. She watched the dress start to come off and didn't want to look away. She let the dress fall to the floor a second later, stepping out of it, before stepping closer again and leaning in to kiss her again. Rachel kicked out of her pants and slowly let her hands move to Claudia's back as she kissed her.

As she moved closer, she started to lower the other girl down onto the bed, nudging her back towards the pillows so that they had more room. She lay back on the pillows and looked up at Claudia over her. Claudia shifted so that she was leaning in closer, before kissing her again, soft and slow. She kissed her back, liking the feel of the body over hers.

Claudia let her hands start to wander as she kissed her, over her chest and thighs, just getting a feel for her skin. A soft whimper sounded on Rachel's lips as she moved her body to the touch. Her fingers gently pulled through the ends of Claudia's hair. She was already feeling more than any guy had been able to make her feel. With that whimper, she started to deepen the kiss more, pushing herself closer. Rachel's hands came down to cling to her back, and she moved her body up to meet Claudia's.

She reached for the clasp of her bra, undoing it as she started to kiss down her neck, running her tongue over the skin. Rachel let out a cry at that and raised herself off the bed. It made it easier to pull off her bra, letting her mouth continue to wander lower as her fingers brushed against the curve of her breast lightly.

"Oh God," Rachel gasped. Her body started reacting all on it's own. Her nails hitting Claudia's back, and her leg moving to prop against her hip, so that the girl's skin fell closer to her thighs. Claudia grinned at the reaction against her skin, continuing to let her mouth move lower as her hand slid down between her legs, sliding over the material of her panties. Her legs moved apart more and she bit her lips together. Her hips jerked at the touch, but in a good way. Claudia moved her hand up, pushing the material down her legs, before sliding her fingers back again, just exploring gently as she did.

Rachel grabbed onto the sheets below her and moaned softly at the new feeling. She continued to use her fingers for a moment, before pushing her legs apart a bit further, as her lips continued to make their way downwards, starting on the inside of her thighs before moving her head between her legs. Her world was kinda spinning. Rachel cried out again, this time louder, and she held on tighter.

Claudia just continued, moving slowly as though not to spook her, using her hands to brace her legs so that they didn't close in on her head. Given how wound up she had been, and how incredible it all felt for the first time, it wasn't too long before Rachel was drowning back into the sheets. Her entire body was buzzing.

She eased her down slowly, before kissing her way back up her body, stopping when she met her lips. "I take it it worked?" she asked with a grin.

Rachel grinned and kissed her lightly. "Mmmm, it really did."

She grinned back. "Good." She just chewed her lip and looked up at her. Her hand brushed against the side of her face lightly. "What is it?"

Rachel shook her head. "Nothing. I just...don't know if I can...you know. Be good enough to...return it."

"Hey. I said I'm here to teach, remember?" She gave her a soft smile, before tucking her hair behind her ear. "Just take your time. Figure it out as you go."

"You're...really pretty," she said quietly. "I'm sure...there are tons of girls who know what they're doing.."

"Yeah, but I want you," Claudia said softly. "I don't mind having to teach. Everyone has to adjust to a new person every time anyway."

This got another smile out of Rachel. "You might be a little crazy."

"Everybody's a little crazy," she nodded. "Just a matter of what way."

"Mmm, I guess."

Claudia shifted slightly so that her body was pressed up against her more. "So -- ready to be taught?"

Rachel nodded, keeping her eyes on Claudia. She smiled softly. "I might be able to figure one or two things out on my own."

"I like someone who's willing to explore," she grinned, before leaning in to kiss her again.

She kissed her back, her hand moving up to her cheek. "Not like our parts are that different," she whispered.

"Exactly," she said with a nod.

Rachel's hand was a bit nervous, but it moved from Claudia's face to her arm and slid down it. Claudia leaned into the touch, curling her arms around her. Her hand moved down her side and against her hip. She liked the feel of curves under her fingers. She arched up into her touch, letting her hands slide down Rachel's back gently. She let her fingers trace over Claudia's stomach, feather light. She moaned softly at the teasing touches, one leg hooking over hers to pull her closer.

Rachel's eyes closed and she breathed for a moment, before making a bit of space between their bodies so her hand could move lower. She pushed her legs apart to give her better access, her hands continuing to brush over her skin. Rachel sighed and let her fingers slide between her legs, taking a moment to get used to being there. She moaned softly at the touch, pushing her hips closer. Her fingers brushed lightly, before moving to her hip to push her panties out of the way and return her hand to where it was.

Her hips pushed up a little higher, wanting to get that touch closer to where she needed it. Rachel moved her hand closer, starting to do what she knew she liked. She gasped slightly, whispering little instructions as to what she liked better. She followed, licking her lips as she watched Claudia. She leaned back into the sheets, gripping them tightly as she got closer to the edge. Rachel continued what she was doing, and couldn't help but lean in to kiss her collarbone. The extra kiss was just what it took and soon her fingers were digging into the mattress, her body arching up as she came. Rachel moved up to rest beside her, her hand still against her skin.

"Very good," she grinned. "A plus."

"Yeah?" Rachel smiled warmly.

"Yeah," she nodded.

"Good."

Claudia curled in closer, just letting their bodies settle together. "Do you wanna learn some more, or do you wanna take a nap?"

"Nap sounds good," Rachel nodded.

"Nap it is," she sighed, shifting so that she could slide the covers over them.

Rachel curled up, closing her eyes. "Thank you," she murmured.

"You're welcome," she said softly, sliding her arms around her and closing her eyes. "And thank you." Rachel smiled again, and sighed. It wasn't long before she was falling asleep. Claudia was out soon after her, relaxing around her into a peaceful sleep.
