so my mom is doing hands across the border for adults. its awesome because neither one understands anything the other is saying. they attempt to communicate but it ends up being about two compeltely different subjects. Nods of acknowledgement (not those with understanding), accompanied by nervous laughter (in embarrassment of their own ignorance of the language), has lead to a rather amusing situation (only of course because I have ways to escape this maelstrom of akward)
