Oh, and random rather sad fact:
I was the only person in my entire geography class who could pick the name of the American national anthem out of four choices. They didn't think it was fair that I got chocolate for that.
Also had an argument with someone about whether Argentina was a Spanish speaking country. Finally I was like, "Look, I can name every country in the world that has Spanish as their official language, plus their capital, and if you have a map handy, I can point them out, too. Trust me, they speak Spanish." (That was probably a slight lie...I doubt I could remember all the capitals anymore. =P) GAH! Why do people not just listen to me in the first place? =P
Oh, and I was also surprised at how few people knew what leaf was on the Canadian flag (again, out of four choices).
