First: I started this project where everyone needs to send me tapes or burned CDs that ARE NOT JAWBREAKER. Fucking shit. I listen to Jawbreaker 90% of the time, and though I am not sick of them, I should be. So yeah, let's get me hooked on something else

I thought I'd help you out.

First, the puppet show thing. The Rule of Thirds house puts on similar political events all the time. I'll get the phone number for you if you want. But since they do that kind of stuff, they know who to invite and how to promote it to the people that would go to stuff like that. You could even go further and flyer for it to get a new crowd that isn't already conformed to attend. I would definately be interested in seeing something like that and I would post it on my website. Which brings me to..

Second, I think that This Bike is a Pipe Bomb has a large and diverse group of kids that enjoy them. The only problem is that the show is in Murfreesboro. That means that someone like you should take initiative and promote the show here in Nashville. First, I would post it on the Nashville shows website. (I already posted it on mine). Second, you should put some flyers up at Grimeys, Great Escape, and a few other areas. It may be too late to post it in the Rage and the Scene but that's the best way of promoting things since flyers get ripped down and there are so many of them that people just ignore them. Although, the Fear flyer has been catching my attention.

Anyways, call me if you want the phone number to the rule of thirds house. also, you 're always welcome to come over and listen/record mine and matt's albums.

(that z was accidental but it stays.) rule of thirds sounds like a good bet, maybe i could promote it through the nashville peace & justice center too? (oh yeah, let me know if anything is going on at that house, i don't usually hear about it.) tomorrow i will start flyering, hopefully mine will be attention-grabbing! what is outstanding about the fear flyers? (haven't seen them) i'm actually setting up my distro at the tbiapb show. we'll see how that goes... i should do that more but i'm pretty shy when it comes down to it.
