"Boys, set the terror level at code brown, 'cause I need to change my pants"

-Steven Colbert as the President of the United States in Monsters V Aliens (Strongly recommend!)

In today's case, I'm shitting my pants not out of fear, but out of pure excitement for what lay ahead!

I shook off a lot of stress I've been feeling about my friends' current situations, and am focused on just enjoying life today.

Great things:
1) I got a filling on Friday...but it was cheap and the dentist was very nice. While he was explaining the procedure (as a good dentist or gynie should!), he said something about the dental dam will act as a drop cloth to catch all the junk that gets sprayed while the drill is happening. He asked me if I knew what a dental dam was, and I replied with something like, "I go to a WOMEN'S COLLEGE!" Johnny and I debtaed later if  he just didn't get the joke or if he was in shock that he didn't reply for a few seconds. He just kept talking while the nurse was cracking up. Yay propriety! So anyway. Filling check. Not going broke in the process check.

2) Classes are almost over! I'm excited about this. I don't want to skip class, which I haven't done since the very beginning of the semester, and I can't wait to get everything turned in.

3) I'll be done with all my work about 2 weeks before graduation. Party!

4) Mom sewed my white graduation dress (<333!!) and it came in the mail today so I could try it on/pin where it needs to be pinned.
IT. IS. BEAUTIFUL. I love my mom. She annoys me sometimes but she does the sweetest things sometimes. She even went to Dallas for the fabric. I'm so happy because I know it was made with love.

5) Biggest news: I find out about TFA tonight after 8pm. My friends, Manfriend, and I going to snarfle sushi at Panda East whether or not I got it. It's so nice that I'm surrounded by people who love me and care about me every where I go. I'm very blessed.

6) My mentor, Zizi, gave me a very sweet card and maple syrup to say thank you for the NASA event. I don't think she realizes that I got just as much out of all the planning as my students did. I loved doing it; it didn't feel like work. She always makes me feel so special. She's like everyone's cheerleader. Lots of love to Ms. Zizi.

I'm so excited that I have gotta get up and run around or do something!
