Random Encounters
Encounter 1: After the (grueling) Mod Con final, I saw Andy Watchorn buying OJ. He's the academic rep for NI. We had a nice 5 minute conversation. He asked my what classes I liked the best, and I mentioned thermal and thermal lab. We discussed how interesting convection is. Concluding, he said I was a thermal addict, and that I had the curiosity and what drives someone to get a PhD.
Encounter 2: Seeing Kevin Gifford and company in Walmart. They said I was old (because I was 20) and asked about Earnest. I could reassure them that college is way better than high school.
Encounter 3: Running into Aunt Colleen in Walmart. Although they live in Troy, I don't see them as much as I'd like to. And it's always good to chat with a cool aunt!
In 3 weeks we'll be in TENNESSEE!
