Inspiration
Today I was teaching my freshmen. They were taking an hourlong quiz. Three of my students were quite frustrated and just wanted me to grade it incomplete and early. I talked to them about the part, giving some hints, and time came for final grading. They got it correct! I told them, "Good job persevering" and they all smiled. One, in fact, thanked me for making him keep going. Sometimes, I think we just need a little encouragement.
