I decided today that I am moving to Paris sometime next year for a year or so. Maybe I can even get a job of sorts that actually uses my degree! It would be nice though if after having studied the language since seventh grade, I could actually speak it. Today I totally wrote in my Spanish essay "quand je vais a la playa..." and I didn't realize that's not even spanish until after I turned it in. hah good job there.
My hair straightener mysteriously no longer works and I don't think any of you understand just how upset this makes me. Now I have to go buy two new ones, one for here and one with european voltage. This summer I will not have a gross and ratty mane battling the Valencia winds. I will try not to go overboard and buy a third hair straightener, one with UK voltage, for my week in London. Speaking of...someone needs to hang out with me that week. seriously. I will do it by myself if I have to. But you should know that you all suck unless you go.
