So today I found the entrance to Hell, and if it was not the entrance then I better start behaving because I never want to go there.
Today was the Y's School Age field trip to see the Sea Dogs in Portland (for you non-Mainers, the Sea Dogs are the Red Sox AAA Minor League team). That means that I sat on the bleachers along with close to 60 K-5 graders in 90 degree heat for 3+ hours. It was oh soooo much fun! I had one little girl who informed me no-less-than every 30 seconds that she was hot. I kid you not. And then the girl in front of me said the she felt like she needed to throw-up. It didn't happen but she was annoying none-the-less. So, that's about it I think.
So, I haven't posted in a while. I could say that I've been busy but the truth is I'm lazy. If I don't need to vent I don't want to post anything. So that means that this summer has been going well, I guess. I've been working at the Y, going to the movies, and generally hanging out.
I went to see Hello, Dolly! with Christine and Carolyn at The Ogunguit Playhouse. Christine and I were in the first row and we touched Sally Sturthers! It was quite exciting and were kinda made a fools of ourselves. But she was hilarious as Dolly and we were a little star-struck.
I'm starting to get sick of being home though. I really hate driving and I just want to be able to walk and take the T again.
That's it for now! I have to go because it is thundering and lightning.
