I need to express somewhere the love that I have for
this making its grand re-entrance into my life. I bought vol 3 when I first went to Japan and I've been collecting them (almost completely out of order save the last two volumes) and reading them out of order until not that long ago.
A few years back the first two volumes were released in English(and I have those copies too 8D) and ....while it wasn't SO awful I couldn't read it....I just wouldn't. Because I could read Japanese just enough so that I wasn't JUST looking at the super AWESOME art and super sexy Asami 8D
But yeah the first time it was released in English the text was crappy, and they translated some things really weird. JUNE usually does pretty good translations and short of a typo here they're just generally pretty good. So when I found out they were re-releasing it(especially since the first company stopped before the third volume WHICH IS WHERE THE STORY REALLY ACTUALLY STARTS!) I was hella excited.
I just bought them yesterday last night and I've already read through both volumes this morning and will probably oggle them for the next week or so.
What's even MORE awesome is that in neither the original release or the first release in English is there the sketch of Akihito with the collar and gag on and in the second volume a new picture of Akihito taking a hilarious photo of Asami asleep with a bunny plush placed in his hand(Like the summer resort one where he's holding the mascot head while sleeping). HI Larious.
This is kinda random to put so much thought into writing up a LJ post about a yaoi manga but I seriously love this story. Its not a droplet into a giant lake of yaoi manga....that's other manga I have LoL Its the little island in the middle of that giant lake that has a lovely apple tree. An apple tree filled with Chinese Mafia, a very unfortunate Photographer and A. SA. MI.
