Wasting time before wooork
I woke up at the wrong time and went to work for the wrong shift. So I've been diddling away the time. I should have slept but I wasn't really tired.

Obviously, Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking-glass. I first read it on a church camp trip. I was most of the way through it when some weenie sitting next to me in the van leaned over and asked "Isn't the King supposed to be super tiny?" The beginning of my Alice-nerd Rage began then. I own multiple copies of it, including a pop-up and a tiny pocket size version. My favorite is the Annotated version that is this huge red book with all these un-necessary useless information tidbits about phrases, inside jokes and facts about Carroll, the Liddels etc etc etc. So of course...I adore it.
A close follow up isn't one book but books 1-5 of Harry Potter obviously.
And closely following that are the Sherlock Holmes series that I'm still working my way through.
All from the lovely isle of the Britons.
