Things are changing. I'm actually getting there. The things that I have deliberately not done, because there was no point until the venue was booked, can now be done! And when they are, I'll have something solid, material, to hold and look at and say "That is mine."
Let's just hope it does actually kick off and get somewhere then. Otherwise it'll all be a bit pointless.
I've also invested in a new bed, a glorious wooden-framed, firm-mattressed racehorse of a bed, which will not allow my vertebrae to slip out of place in the night, or make me roll out of bed in the morning and whinge about how I can't move. This bed will be good for me. Very exciting.
Moving in six days, and the next four are taken up with the kids performing at the Dome - which means a lot of stress and running around and yelling for four days. Then one day of packing like a beast. And then The Big Move. I'm slightly concerned that all my crap will not fit in the new house. We shall see.
Then Spain, then a few days to regroup, prepare myself for the new term. Will pop back to the Shire for a few days to see the girls and look after the cat and steal some furniture from my mother.
Perhaps the Man will join me. I'll ask him today. But first, it's a beautiful sunny day, so I'll be dragging him down to the beach.
