laundromats

So I've never really been a fan of laundromats. The only one that was kinda okay with me was the Laundry Club in Amherst. Seriously, this place was awesome. There was a snack bar (cause who doesn't like snacks?!) and big comfy chairs and sofas and a big tv. There were big tables where you could do your homework. (real smart thinking for the guys that run the place since you're in a college town) But the coolest thing about this place was that they had a pool table. Yes, a pool table. So, you could go do laundry with some of your friends and play pool while you were waiting for it. How awesome is that? You can play pool and have snacks while your clothes are getting clean. The best. But alas, normal laundromats are not quite like that, hence why I don't really like them. They always seem a little skeevy. Why am I talking about laundromats you ask? Because I was forced to go to one today. For those of you that don't know, I had been sneaking into my old apartment building because I kept the outside door key (ssshhhh!!) and the laundry card so I could keep doing laundry there. But the last time I did laundry there, I went to Stop and Shop while my clothes were in the dryer. Apparently the card fell out of my pocket into the parking lot. And I didn't notice until after I had left Stop and Shop. I thought maybe it had fallen out in my car, but haven't looked for it until today because I lost it during those days when it was so gosh darned f-ing cold that I didn't want to spend any extra time outside. So I looked for it today in my car and threw out the trash that was in there, but no laundry card. Hence why I was forced to go to a laundromat or wear dirty undergarments and clothes. And we know we all don't want that. So I went to this place near my house kinda. Dependable Cleaners. Along with dry cleaning and alterations, this particular location happened to have a laundromat too. I guess my main dislike with these places is that anyone that's there can see my underwear. I don't like that. My underwear is private and I don't like strangers being able to see it! But it's really the most important thing that must be washed, so it's basically inevitable that strangers are going to see my thongs! Anyway, my clothes are clean and dried and folded. It looks like I'll be going back to these laundromat places more often now since my poor laundry card is in laundry card heaven.

Now I have to get ready to go to dance class!
