(no subject)
Today I not only received my first paycheck (woo!) I also got to spend all afternoon with Dylan befoer he goes out of town. We hung out in uptown, doing the random thrifting thing. I found the most amazing thing ever. So, you know how in old movies they'd wrap a scarf around their head to keep their hair safe, well, I found a scarf made specifically for that purpose! It made me so happy, I had to get it. Anyways, then we ran and checked out Alex at the regatta, saw carl's hot life jacket tan. When we finally made it out of uptown, we checked out davanis and got pizza and chatted. Then I took Dylan home.
This evening my mom and I headed out to the aquatennial block party for some free concerting. I saw the end of Ben Lee, awesome, plus a very lovely british accent. Next I saw Mike Doughty, who was great, a little disappointing, but I still liked it. The sucky part was that it was so freakin hot and everyone around me was smoking. One guy went through 4 cigarettes in like, 40 minutes. It was disgusting. During Mike Doughty I also saw kate wiley and eve. To far off to talk to, but it was like hey, kate wiley and eve! After Mike, I saw teri, and that was cool. Got lemonade, then sat and started to enjoy Howie Day. Soon after, creepy old guy starts hitting on me and asking me where I lived and stuff. It bothered me so much I had to leave, which really blew, because I was so excited to see Howie. Gr. Oh, and I also had gum on both my shoes, double gr.
So, hm... I guess the goodness and badness just evens itself out. Plus, tomorrow should be awesome. I'm going with Dylan to rochester for his uncle's wedding reception. Woo road trip!
