Today is World AIDS Day, a day I've recognized for years. It takes only a simple action to change the world. Whether it be volunteering your time, purchasing merchandise that donates funds to a charity, walking, or donating directly... it's so easy to help take part in change.
I used to walk miles for AIDS. I've volunteered my time, I've worn shirts, I've held many conversations about AIDS and how it affects people- both infected and not. Losing someone to the disease is horrible. So take a moment today to make a difference. It's easy... even if it's just a conversation recognizing what today is about.
Continue the battle against AIDS, it can be prevented. Educating yourself about AIDS can make a huge difference.
