I just finished watching the opening ceremonies. I loved the giant skating man at the beginning. The Formula 1 car was by far my favorite part. What I didn't understand was the awful 80's music blasting in the background. At one point the commentator said "Yeah, I'm sure the ----- team asked if YMCA could be played as they made their entrance." Heh.
It was also funny to hear the commentators talk about how "the paint was still drying as people were entering the stadium..." and how the ticket sales didn't reach remarkable numbers until last week. It seems I have a thing or two to learn from the Italians on the art of procrastination.
I've been sick since Monday but finally went to the doctor yesterday afternoon and got antibiotics and phenegren. By the way, when people tell you not to take phenegren unless you can devote twelve hours to sleep- listen to them. Hopefully I will be feeling much better by tomorrow.
