V-Day & Etc.
Sick again this week. Went home early on Tuesday and then stayed home on Wednesday and went to the doctor. Apparently I have a sinus infection/severe allergies/ So now I'm taking anti-biotics, steriods, and a nasal spray. My crusty nose is oh-so-beautimous.
So yesterday was Valentine's Day. Jonathan gave me beautiful hot pink roses, yummy chocolates, and the perfect card. I gave him a gift certificate for a massage, the 8th Season of Frasier on DVD, and some Kahlua filled chocolates. He took me to dinner at a secret restaurant - Piccolo Mondo. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice. All in all, we had a nice evening.
I had to fight with American Laser Centers today. Because I'm on anti-biotics, I can't keep my appointment for this afternoon. When I called to reschedule, they could not offer me any suitable times to reschedule. They only have 2 machines, so they fill up appointments really far in advance. It's right around the corner from my office, so I always go Friday afternoons after work, usually 4:15 or 4:30. I don't want to wait any longer because we're not supposed to stay at the office by ourselves for safety reasons. Besides that, my time is too valuable to sit around waiting for some dumb cosmetic appointment. I also don't want to use up gas to drive back out there at another time. The woman I spoke to was rude and nosy and could not properly accomodate me. I told her that I would like to terminate my services and receive a refund, as they do not have proper staff or equipment to accomodate my schedule. She is allegedly e-mailing the regional manager who will be contacting me tomorrow. They better not screw me around. My family called the CBS news on the fucking Army, and I will not hesitate to shine a public spotlight on American Laser Centers either.
