Jury Duty

I've been called to jury duty on Monday. I have an afternoon date of 1:30. Why couldn't they give me a morning time instead? My evil company does pay me for jury duty, so I'm actually interested in seeing how it goes. Since the meeting time is 1:30 pm, I can still go in to work in the morning and finish up some things I wanted to get done on

i hate when people say, 'today's my friday...' and its tuesday... or some other day of the week that isn't friday. it drives me insane. is it that hard to say, 'its the start of my two days off.'?
