Yesterday, after several days of continuous of pouring rain, a block of a central street connecting Baltimore's largest and busiest non-highway North and South roads collapsed onto heavily used CSX (once B&O) railroad tracks, swallowing ten cars, streetlights, and the retaining wall, with no injuries. I just 2 days ago got two old postcards of that pagoda in the mail (an online postcard seller was going out of business--- had a big discount). I was never there the whole time I lived in Baltimore. It's a beautiful thing. Dig both your photographs.

They are from 1907-1915.

Oh wow, I dig the postcards!

They've done a marvelous job restoring the building and much of the park in recent years. I learned from a flyer on the window it's now open inside Sunday afternoons, so I intend to go back at some point this summer.
