Molly Crabapple, artist and founder of Dr. Sketchy's Anti-Art School, wrote recently for Vice magazine about her former life as an alternative model, burlesque dancer, and, in her words, 'Professional Naked Girl'. Occasionally friends ask me why I lament certain photographically-based portraits never getting out of my head into the real world and ( Read more... )

You and Pod seem decent folks. I'm not traveling at the moment, but should you and he, or you and a chosen backup feel like wandering out my way, you're welcome. My partner may be interested as well, but they're not on-site until at least mid-Novemeber, and probably not until the end of the month.

*shrugs*

With friends, the terms are, "Hey, what are you up for / what are you looking for?" My main limit on image use is, "Please, use this name as it keeps the professional world from finding my images online," And, "No explicit work, thanks." Anything else open to discussion.

At the moment, I've got a Nikon D50 with a red line error on the left bottom. I've got a roll or two of expired film and a very old manual Nikon as well. I typically light Klieg or sunlight, with some variants depending on what's available.

I should have Pentax K lens adapters for Nikon F/AF(Manual mode only) bodies and Canon 35mm/EOS/T3 bodies as well by the end of the month - I have a couple Pentax K macro lenses I'll be learning once the adapters come in. When my partner gets here, we'll potentially have a Canon T3 on site as well.

So, if rather a long drive strikes you and yours as an interesting time, I've got a room that doubles as a guest room - even a futon - feel free to give a yell. Email's probably best, but I can toss you phone info from there. Wetdryvac on wetdryvac.net or gmail.com will reach me.

Allergens: Cats and a poodle. Same also available for shooting.
Food: I've piles of pasta, rice, and probably some beans - and if you want to bring pot-lucking supplies, I've a gas stove and oven.
