happy -official- one year to the berkelique!
Omg reminiscing with Ellyne about the US trip and hearing updates from Jingxiu who's at UC Berkeley for summer school this year AND for the fact that one year ago today was the day when we flew off to San Francisco, have totally got me missing those good old days with a vengeance (not that I don't, every other single day).
And one year ago tomorrow would be the day when you first took my breath away : )

Remember buffet-style meals @ the crossroads, highlighting the bbq chicken pizza, and daily must-have strawberries and waffles
Remember the walk to class under the splendid 16 degree C weather and the gorgeous campus scenery
Remember Alex and my failed campus jog turned campus tour :D
Remember the Taboo / Cranium / Dirty minds nights and the amazing chemistry we share
Remember the movie marathons and countless sleepovers thereafter at the guys' room, what with four people squeezing into one bed
Remember the sleepover during the heatwave when I went, "Kyle, no airrrr" which wasn't funny but was made funny by Ellyne anyway
Remember the Sather Tower fantasy :D
Remember Goddess Ma'at and her 'mMMmm not bad arh!' face that only the 4 of us LOL-ed at, these shady Asian chicks!

Remember the 3-storey high Forever21 outlet at Union street where I bought clothes like crazy, seriously like crazy everytime I stepped in there
Remember factory outlets and moar crazy shopping (LA's was my biggest conquest, thanks)
Remember Kyle jumping off the bed to switch on every single light in the hotel room thinking it was 11am check-out time when it was actually only ten, and falling asleep the very next second (schizo??) so Alex had to get out of bed to switch off all the lights ROFL

Remember 'Alcohol and underaged girls' in Vegas
Remember Kyle suggesting waking up at 8.30am the next day and Alex promptly going, "8.30, fuck you. 8.30, screw you"

Remember Newport Beach and the beautiful ocean and having amazing seafood at the highly acclaimed Crab Cooker
Remember Ellyne and I singing out loud to the 'Grease' soundtrack in the car in LA
Remember Cheesecake Factory, the monstrous-sized cheesecakes and utterly deelish Hibachi steak
Remember conquering the Misty Trail with Alex and feeding squirrels cashew nuts
Remember Alex and I lying on the soft clean grass under the Statue of Liberty in the perfect weather and enjoying the scenery with Death cab on the ipod
Remember 'Spare change for food', and 'Need $$ for alcohol research' on panhandlers' placards
Remember Ellyne and I feeling emo nemo towards the last few days in NY because this 7-week utopian world was going to end so soon :,(
Remember waking up in own bed in Singapore and expecting to see a certain familiar face beside me because I was oh just so used to it already
Remember how we were all merely acquaintances at the beginning of the trip, and how we 'paired up'' in the end ;)
