ohhhh college.
Out new apartment is nice- having my own room is awesoooome! I painted it a light shade of yellow, and it's pretty great. AND our house is CLEAN without the boys, so that's great. they live right below us in the same building though, so it's LIKE we still live together but without the annoying parts. However, zack did use our kitchen yesterday and just left his shit everywhere....they have a kitchen, so i don't know why this happened.
Classes....classes are going well I think. I have 4 on tuesdays and thursdays, 15 minutes apart, but only 1 on MWF. not my choice- the education department only offers the classes I need at certain times, so a lot of us are screwed on tuesdays and thursdays. I like the majority of my classes though- math for elementary school teachers? HECK YES. this mean, ladies, that we do not go beyond 8th grade math in that class. SWEEEET! and my teacher is awesome. French is hilarious because the prof sucks at french. I think he was just thrown into the position because when i registered for the class, he was not the teacher. He has the WORST american accent, and makes me feel good at french...which we all know is not the case.
I'm president of the Ramifications....our a capella choir. I was VP before, but I got an e-mail from our director this summer saying "hey Amy, I'm not gonna be prez and director anymore...so you're president". or soemthing to that effect. cool? aka a LOT of work. but we had auditions last week, and the new people are really awesome, so i think we might actually be good? I hooope! If we are, you should come see us perform. do iiiittt.
quoi d'autre.... umm i went to a job interview yesterday for this company called Mad Science where i would run an after school program for elementary school kids. They do experiments and make cool shit...ya know, what you thought science was in elementary school? they do it, and it's awesome, and i would get to wear a lab coat at woooork!!! I hope i get ittt. at the interview, we waited as a group- there were 5 of us, and they ran through what a class would be like, and we got to make slime.and take it home. best interview ever.
so that's that.
OH!!!! zoe- liz has pictures up on facebook of her. or...I posted one yesterday too. she's SO TINY. we used to have her litter box in the laundry room, but then she kept hiding behind the dryer, so we had to move it. she's beyond adorable.
home for cousin's wedding this weekend, and then home again next weekend for another cousin's wedding....on the same side of the family.
