Back from Denvention
Well, I had a lot of fun at the 66th Worldcon, in Denver And I have a ton of pictures that will make it up on Flikr.
The biggest stress was my little "chat" with the Hotel, after they tried (on checkout day) to raise my room rate by $50 / night (for the previous 4 nights).
When you check into a hotel, they have you sign a sheet of paper saying your room rate, and how long you're staying. It's a whole lot easier for them to "fix" what the computer says about your room rate, than to "fix" what that sheet of paper says. After I insisted they check the sheet of paper, they agreed I was right about the room rate. :-)
