AAARGH
Okay, here's the situation;
About five hours after I finished writing the latest chapter of the Blue Prince, my spare computer broke. Normally, this would not be a problem, but I was on my spare because my main had broken down the week before. Now I'm on the internet using my usual rescue tactic of a live Ubuntu disc, but can't get at the file in my spare, because it's too old and rickety for the CD to work in it.
I'm taking both machines to a techie friend this weekend, so fingers crossed he can fix one or both of them and I'll post the story as soon as I can get at it.

I'll just go back to chewing the edge of my desk in annoyed frustration now...
