I guess you could blame me, I do have a tendancy to be too tolerant and too understanding to all my staff. There have been many times when I have over looked bad behaviour, lateness, rudness, unfinished tasks, leaving early, extra brakes, long lunch brakes, too many sick days, long phone call during work time, extra long toilet brakes, jobs done incorectly, and just plain lazyness.
There have been times that I have given people a chance when they needed it most, I have helped my staff out with pay rises, use of company vechicles and fule cards. If all these things make me a bad manager then so be it.
What gets me is that if any body has a problem I am always open to talk to and I try as best as I can to help in any situation. I guess some people always feel hard done by no matter what you do to help them. And the worst part is now my help is being thrown back in my face with contempt. Nice.
