So today I got me some sheep. Last week I started my new hours at work. i start at the cheerfull time of 4am, which means a 3am wake up so that I can make it to work on time. I now go to bed about an hour after I put my 13month daughter to bed, sad aint it?

The plus side is i sugested these houres as being the most suitable for me, wait i will explain. First off it means that i can work alone with no interuptions or stupid questions, I finish at 1 pm so I have the whole afternoon to do what I want.

Any way back to the sheep, I only work at 4 am 4 days a week and the other day I start at 8 as normal, well today dad asked me to take him to the mernda sales yards so that we could purchase our selves some sheep. Why sheep? cause it took my nonna(grandma) 2 day to mow the grass around the house at the farm. i'm not talking paddoks here, just the front, back left and right side yards, with a push mower. She is not nuts she is sicillian which = stuborn!

So it was decided that a few friendly sheep would make the job much easyer. So at the sale yards we had time to watch the poultry auction, I know where to go for ducks now, and 3 hours after we got ther they started the sheep auction. I asked a few old timers for advice and they pointed out a few good lots. We ended up buying 4 ewes for $50 a head, there are cornish i think Need to check up on that.

Droped dad off at work on they way back to the farm. I got to the farm and unloaded them into a paddock untill we check all the fences around the house.
sheep are so much easyer to unload that goats.

So the current list of animals on the farm are: 8 chooks, 1 roster, a horse and 2 ponys agisted, 2 goats (billy has gone to goat heaven after goaring my dad and nonna and braking 2 fences and a gate) and now 4 sheeps..... yay.
