A new decade
I turned 30 yesterday. Harmony, a couple of coworkers and I headed over to a place called Brouwer's Cafe for some food and drinks. The food was pretty good, and the scotch was fantastic. I had a glass of Bowmore 12yr that was nice and peat (it's from Islay). Very very tasty. I would order it again in a heartbeat. I also had a glass of Balvine Double Wood 12yr (Highland). It was a bit sweeter, but still really tasty. I liked it, but not as much as the Bowmore.
Harmony also got me a little bit of "retaining my youth" geekdom. She hooked me up with a GeForce 8800GT and The Orange Box. I started playing Portal some last night. It's pretty fun =D It was a good birthday, and it should get a little better with some friends coming over on Saturday night. w00t!
