Today I watched 5 hours of Baby-Sitters Club movies with Andrea, Jenn, and Colin (albeit reluctantly and also not really watching). It was beautiful and well worth the wait. 5 hours pretty much breaks down to 10 videos, carrots, samosas, and a certain someone getting all her stuffed buffies and trying to balance them on her leg ( Read more... )

I have spent $100 on books alone this past week. GOD I LOVE BOOKS. I just can't talk myself out of buying them because I love them so much. I love looking at them and holding them, smelling them, carrying them, everything. I hope you write a zine. Where did you even get all those baby sitter movies?!

The movies were all from the library! It looks like the San Francisco Public Library system has most (if not all) of them, so you can have your own Baby-Sitters party!

I haven't bought any news books in awhile and it is making me antsy. I'm hoping to go to some used bookstores while I'm in Texas and fill up my suitcase!

Speaking for being tired of being sexy, read this. And then read this because it'll warm your little librarian cockles.

Those were both enjoyable reads, thank you. And people should use the word "cockles" more, except it makes me a little giggly.

I always say to myself, "I am going to finish reading the books I own before I buy anymore books or check out more from the library." But it never happens! I just get distracted by other books. One time I even checked out a book that I already owned and then returned it because I figured that I would just read my copy. Still haven't read it!
