Friday, Jan 12th
Had a fun day - I was off, but still got up and took Emily to school. I tried to get her to stay home, but....well, you know how she is!
Chrissy and I went and chased FedEx trucks - and paged Emily a few times making sure she was feeling okay - since she was a bit "girly sick" yesterday.
Chrissy picked her up, then they stopped by the library and then picked up Maddie.
At 5 PM, I took her into Sun City and we did some driving for a half hour. She does pretty well for having not driven before, but I just have vision of us plowing into some home and ending up in their living room! :) We practiced left turns, right turns...she did very well. I think I will take her out on Saturday also.
Emily and Mom went to the Cheesecake factory while I played Poker. They collapsed in our bed and I put Emily to bed at 1230 AM. She stumbled to the bathroom - took out her contacts and was out in her bed before I could turn out the lights.
Plans for today is tennis at 1230 PM to 230 PM...then she might go to a Sun's game with her friends.
