some things i learned in the bathroom of pizza house tonight:
- cat pee is neon under a black light
- porqupines float on water
-wrigly's chewing gum was the first thing to ever have a bar code on it
- a "jiffy" is an actual period of time, 1/100 of a second.
- each year over 2,500 left handed people die as a result of using right handed apliances.
anyway, things are pretty good here. rush is finally over, which makes everything better. tomorrow is bid day, so we get to find out who all our new chi-o's are and hang out with them. that should be a lot of fun. each sophomore has an "owl buddy" (chi o's mascot is the owl) who is someone in the new pledge class. We're supposed to get them presents, so i got mine "don't break the ice" among other things. do you guys remember that game???!!!!! it was one of my favorites.
rush honestly though, was horrrrrriiiiiibbbbblllllllle. We had nonstop rush this weekend......meaning from 4:00 on friday till 2:00 in the morning on sunday. you know it's a bad weekend when you want the weekend to be over so the week can start. after last night everyone is so relieved. we all have so much work to do....i am so behind on reading it's not even funny.....but no one wants to do anything because we're all so exhausted. i wish i could just sit and do absolutly nothing for one day.
jess is coming home with me for rosh hashauna. as much as i really really DO NOT want to see my parents, i'm excited to bring her and have her meet the rest of my family....and go to the cider mill.
