so the play is over now and now there isnt really anything to do on the weeknights except studying. oh goody. though, the holidays are coming up so ill have plenty to do, at least for a while. i should go present shopping, though i think ill mebbe make my gifties this year, as im short on cash. arent we all...
the play went overall really well. i didnt really fuck up anything, besides my leg. it hurts like a bitch. i ran into something at full speed and i have a bruise the size of a small dish on my thigh. and a gash to go with it. so ive been hobbling around since friday and getting funny looks because of it. but its a beauty! my mother should be proud. i had so much fun at strike though. i got to use a saws-all to break down the tower, ripped apart some welds with my bare (yet gloved) hands, and now im all sore and satisfied because of it. and i have pictures too, soon to surface on myspace.
for those of you who saw the play, i hope you enjoyed it. and for those of you who saw it, didnt like it, and wrote a review for it, learn how to write. im all for expressing opinions, but damn, you really fucked up. calling a professional actor " an inexperienced ham" is as offensive as saying that gay christians arent truly christian. and for your information, the reason why Janet was the lead was because the department was using alumni for the 50 year anneversary celebrattion. the director is an alum, janet is an alum, and i think you should do your research before you fly off the handle. and the flags? its a little difficult to find catholic and protestant flags. go find some to prove me wrong. and the props dont make the show, the actors do. and i believe that the actors did a damn good job and we worked to hard to be slammed with blatant ignorance.
