"why cant i pick up any paper clips?"
today sucked a little
i got to school so late that i was counted absent from my zero hour. but its excused, so its not another tardy.
went to 2nd hour to do the egg drop with a box full of twinkies. both drops, one egg cracked. so no points. now i have another paper to write. i was so upset i sat on the stairs and ate every last twinkie in the box. grand total of four. felt worse.
went to my detention again with ms pettit. counted my flies. her class was in lab today so i had to scoot over. as i sit there counting, i listen in on their conversations. they were building and testing an electromagnet with different stuff like a nail, wire, wood dowel, and a glass tube. as i sit there i hear from across the room "why wont this pick up any paper clips?" and ms pettit says, "you dont have it attached to the wire". the other girl is like "yea i do" and ms pettit comes over, looks at it and says "thats the cotton string. current wont go through that. touch your wire to the aligator clip." i look over, stare in amazement, and start laughing so hard i accidently blew some of my flies off the petri dish.
i later asked her if the whole class was that stupid. she said "not all of them, but most of the girls are pretty ditzy." i bout lost it in the hallway. funniest damn thing all day.
at rehersal, bunch of people bitched and moaned about the choreography again. a few in particular. i say, if you cant at least pretend to have fun, get out. seriously. i wonder sometimes if people just join drama to cause drama. and if you arent going to do a number more than once, its not a rehersal! its an overview! overviews dont make good shows!
