It's strange how quickly one year passed! Sometimes it seems like not a lot happened, but then I remember that one year ago I was packing to leave D.C., planning to intern with lawyers, and looking at law schools. Now I'm leaving Shreveport soon, not for law school, but for China? This year shows that I can't expect my life plans to always work out, no matter how practical they seem at the time. Something unexpected will happen, and suddenly my life will dramatically shift course. Cheers?
