About 250 pages into the book My Year of Meats, I decided to go pescatarian for a while (vegetarianism plus fish) unless I know the food is free range/organic. Somehow I don't think I'll be sacrificing that much, especially not with the food that Centenary serves. I told Laura my decision, and she said that she figured I would have done this a long time ago. I think I just take my own time with life decisions and experiences (maybe there's such thing as Megan time, similar to Mexican time and South Louisiana time...).
I'm excited that Centenary now has bright green bicycles for its students to check out! Some other students and I rode the bikes around campus with Dr. Schwab for a publicity shot, which was pretty corny, but amusing. The bikes don't have handle breaks, unlike my family's bikes, so I almost ran into Dan before I figured out how to stop. I love reinforcing liberal arts college stereotypes!
