I love 2-day weeks - thank you, Mardi Gras break!
Laura tried to convince me that I didn't really need to have anything done for my Senior Sem tomorrow, and that we are the cool kids who don't obsess about it. I'm not sure if this is true, but it makes my life easier if I believe that. Hopefully I get away with this philosophy.
I also learned that this southern Louisiana town (Houma) has an old-school Mardi Gras celebration where people ride on horseback from house to house, collecting items needed for the gumbo (rice, okra, etc). Then they make one big batch of gumbo for the whole town to eat! Someday I'll make it there!
