Such.A.Productive.Day.
Fun productive. Yay!
Hmm... I went to the gym. :) That could have been the catalyst. Went grocery shopping. Cleaned the kitchen! And made banana bread muffins for Carisa's baby shower on Saturday. Oh and when I got back from shopping, I parked in the spot in front of our house. I was proud because I actually managed to get right up to the curb like I'm supposed to. Yay!
Forgot to put sugar in the muffins, though. HEEE. But since I was eating the batter all the way through, it must not have needed sugar because I didn't notice! They're super yummy. Banana, oatmeal, and chocolate chip muffins. And I made about half without the chocolate in case people didn't want 'em. I know Carisa wouldn't eat them if they had chocolate in them. But yes. I am proud of myself!
Now I have to make a baby cake for her present. Along the lines of this:
Carisa's is going to be greens because Nick says that yellow is too 'girly' of a color for their baby if they have a boy! Dork. Anyway... I got the cloth diapers, a pacifier, and I made some little crocheted clothes for them. Hopefully she'll like it!
I was even productive yesterday! Hmm. Went to work. B noticed right away that I was wearing my aids because I had the top part of my hair pulled back. That's the first time I wore it like that. She was fascinated. She was also VERY talkative. I think her and her sister S are adjusting to having me around. T wants me to go with her and B to the speech therapist on Monday, to teach their speech therapist sign! haha. I am thrilled. And it's SO much closer than driving to Wellington. And maybe I can reschedule with Melissa to do something after that. And after work, I went bowling with the Mpact youth. Such fun. I have funny pictures from that! I'm trying to enjoy them. Sometimes it's hard though. Anna has so much better rapport with those kids than I do. :/
Anyway... life is busy. And now I'm finishing baby presents, and cards, and then I'm going to swim practice and D Team tonight! Yeppers. I am busy girl! :) and happy today too.
