Nothing cheers you up like a cute, wriggly puppy.......
Felt a bit down, so I went to dog training class with my parents and their two border collies. The trainer gave me a Sheltie puppy to hold that was about the size of my lap, had a fluffy face, a ginger snout that made her look like Basil Brush, and a pink belly. And she licked my face every chance she got. You can't help but smile when you hold a puppy.
Oh, and Carl Tyler was there, Meridian TV's weather-man, with his wife Pat and their dog.
