Round 1: submit short stories until April 30th; create art before May 31st

ANYhoo, I'm super excited about this for a lot of reasons. Probably the number one reason is that I've claimed a fic!, and I'm going to make some art!!! :D I'm lucky enough to get to draw something up for alycat's sexy J2 story inspired by the SPN episode "Just My Imagination". You can (and should!) check it out here ("Bring Me a Dream" - Jared is a glittery Zanna and it's awesome! :D).
Another reason I'm excited is that I went and submitted one of my own fics ( see?) << That's just the prompt, but there's a link to the fic(s) there. I also recently cross-posted them here on LJ. It doesn't seem like many (any?) other fics are claimed yet, and I don't really expect much, but it'd be pretty damn cool if someone wanted to make art for one/both/either of my fics.
The final reason I'm excited (besides the inherent coolness of the collaboration that is a natural part of these sort of things) is because, all of the fics that are being submitted for art-claims, well, it's a built-in rec list! I've read a few already, and all of them have been great. If I get done with this first art claim fast enough, I'd be strongly tempted to claim another. Just sayin' ;) I'm really looking forward to seeing what all comes from this first round of the Quicky!Bang ^_^
