#Inktober - Week Three!
Another week has come and gone, and October is just flying by!

Day 15 - "By the Light of the Moon"
Started this week off right - with a wedding! The reception was held at a ski-hill, which has amazing views of the St. Louis River leading up to the Duluth Harbor, Duluth/Superior, and Lake Superior. It was gorgeous during the day too, but I chose to try capturing the picture of the moon shining over the water.
With BONUS alternate version (with some neat filter applied), and the reference pic!
Day 16 - "Let Sleeping Dragons Lie"
Perhaps unsurprisingly, being as into fandom as I am, I encounter talk of dragons or dragon!fic on a fairly regular basis. Also my husband is currently in a [multiple day] quest to acquire this one specific dragon in WoW, so... all that combined was my inspiration for this drawing :)
Day 17 - "Are you still watching?"
I don't draw creepy stuff nearly often enough. It's fun though, and I like to think I was fairly successful with this doodle. Inspired by gluedwithgold's commentary on her binge-watching of TWD, lol. (Not sure why/how 'zombie gore' translated to 'creepy skull', but whatevs XP)
Day 18 - "Wagon Wheel"
I finally broke out my "Covers with Friends" CD and it's pretty much been on repeat for the last couple weeks. This is me combining a few elements from the sixth track, "Wagon Wheel", which is easily one of my faves. Love love love when the supremely talented people of the #SPNFamily sing together (my favorite thing ever, still, was when Jensen joined Rich & Louden Swain at the first PhxCon to sing "Seven Bridges Road" - his first SNS appearance, and one of my favorite songs to hear sung by those beautiful people. All the harmony!! *swoons*). Anyhoo, here's the drawing, lol.
Day 19 - "VOTE"
This... was the day of the third and final (thank GOD) Presidential Debate between Hillary Clinton and *shudders* Donald Trump. I did NOT watch the debate itself, but everyone else's live tweets about it were more than enough, lol. Anyhoo, this was my attempt at conveying my feelings on the event. I think my preference of candidate is pretty clear; I usually try to stay away from politics, but a lot about this election has me, quite frankly, terrified. I just want it to be over already, guh. Anyway, DRAWING! *thrusts more art at you*
And if you're a citizen of the U.S. who is eligible to vote, please, for the love of Chuck, vote on November 8th. Thank you ♥
Day 20 - "Still Good"
I drew this after watching the latest episode of Supernatural, 12.02 "Mamma Mia". It gave me many, many Sam feels, and this was kind of my way of expressing those. And the title for the drawing (because I like to title them, I guess), comes from this quote from Disney's 'Lilo & Stitch':
"This is my family. I found it, all on my own. It's little, and broken, but good. Yeah. Still good."
*bursts into tears*
Day 21 - "First Kiss"
This drawing is outside of the cut because not only is it technically fanart, but it's fanart that comes with a fic rec! The fic this was inspired by (and I say 'inspired' because, if it was directly done for the fic, I would have actually been looking at the fic when I drew/colored it and made sure the details actually *matched* the fic (they don't, not exactly, lol)) is by the amazing __tiana__, and I enjoy reading it often. So yeah. This image of bartender/drummer!Jensen and mechanic/artist!Jared is from the first scene of "Don't Go Mistaking Paradise" (which I just re-read last night, and you definitely should go [re]read now too, if you're at all a fan of J2 AU fic :)). And I hope you like my art, too, lol XD
