(no subject)
I'm going to New Hampshire this weekend! For a long weekend. My first and only vacation of the summer! I am so excited. I've never been to the lakehouse. I've never been to the lake, I don't even think I've met Chris's Uncle Ted. And Jake the goldendoodle will be there! Oy! I'm so thrilled. And Chris Z is going to cover for me at work on Friday so Chris and I can drive up late Thursday night.
It's going to be crowded up there because a ton of his family is going, but I don't care if I don't even have an actual bed to sleep on. I'm going away! I get to read, and swim, and tan, and go for walks, and eat oatmeal at Chris's favorite place to get oatmeal. Words cannot express how long I've been wanting to go!!
But... before I get to Thursday there are many things I must do:
-take a really icky Math final. (interestingly, I walked out of our review session today because the prof is SUCH AN ASS HOLE!)
-work 3 shifts at the pool
-lose 20 pounds
-cross my fingers that Joe wins the primary because I heart him.
At this point losing 20 pounds is looking a lot more fun than taking that gross test tomorrow. I'm putting off studying by going to see the Devil wears Prada this afternoon with my mother (yeah I'm cool) and going shopping for a hostess gift for Aunt Pat, Chris's aunt. I'm thinking wine charms that will accompany of Kendall Jackson's delicious Chardonnay. Yum. Wine.
Ahhhh, I have so much energy.
