IB...
so kelly and i just had another one of those discussions about IB, and why we do it to ourselves, and stuff. yeah and of course it led to the day we graduate, and we discussed how sad that day will be:(:(..but then i found this on the internet: you know youre in IB when..adn like theres a bunch of stuff on it, and surprsingly alot of it goes with me but some of it doesn lol..here take a look...
You know you're in IB when.....
1. You start analyzing random books, song lyrics, and street signs --i do this one! lol
2. A good night's sleep is 5 hours --this is me
3. The idea of "getting off on tangents" is hilariously funny --sometimes
4. You have theological discussions at parties (sad, but very, very true) -omg too many times lol!!--kelly/gaby/shivani--and we enjoy them too! lol
5. Whenever you're watching a movie you find all the motifs and themes --i do that!
6. You brag that you only got 2 hours of sleep last night --i dont brag, i complain lol
7. You give out fliers announcing that you're going to the movies --no i aways go to the movies, well try to lol
8. You're disappointed when you only get 100% on a test - not me
9. You realize the IB drop outs are smarter than you are. --sometimes
10. You have a better love life on the computer than in real life.-nope
11. You attempt to do your extended essay on Dr.Seuss -
12. You realize that something is missing when your backpack feels too light.--all the time!!!
13. The most peer pressure you have recently experienced is someone trying to get you to eat potato chips. -lol
14. You check out a stack of books from the library each week and return them a months later... unread. -lol
15. You break down in tears in the middle of Biology class, can't stop, and can't explain why. -once
16. You're one of the few people who realize that Catcher in the Rye isn't about baseball-?
17. You wonder about things like what would happen if your car traveled at the speed of light and your turned your lights on---not that example but yeah
18. You've mastered the art of procrastination so well that your research paper finishes printing just seconds before you have to leave for school--deffinitely, i think thats a pre-requisite in order to be in IB-to procrastinate lol
19. "Friends" and "fellow IBers" are interchangeable.-yes!
20. You hold "parties" to study -all the time lol
21. Your idea of great art is simultaneously graphing the sine, cosine and tangent graphs-?
22. You show school spirit at pep assemblies- yes!
23. You would go into severe spasms if you ever lost your planner--deffinitely me!!
i love ib, lol, at times, but for the most part i love the people, (some) teachers, the classes, and the atmosphere!
