and im back:)
so this past weekend was spent in jacksonville. the hotel we stayed at was awfully scary!!! i couldnt sleep at all. lol. we had some people in the room next to us that werent quiet .....the type you want to have in the room next to you lol. anyway....after sunday night we were in 1st place for pom. but that didnt mean anything b/c the next day could change based on our next performance. sundays performance has so many problems. to start off...as we were back stage ready to go on one of our dazzlers twisted her ankle so we had to find her marker which was milika and had to get her ready realllly fast. then the routine wasnt too good. we werent that focused, and we were all nervous. so it showed in our routine. so today at finals it was different. it felt much better! more focus, more precision, and we were told it looked a lot better! so then we just had to wait a couple of hours until awards. omg. so the ceremony was delayed like 20 min b/c of the closeness in routines:(. then they get to our division. and announce a 3rd place which was a total surprise to us...the villages who were in 2nd place before finals/ then we hear 2nd place and it wasnt us so we got sooo excited!!!!! then they announces 1st place...seminole dazzlers:):):) it was so exciting! it felt good. then we all went to get our jackets. everyone was sooo happy!! so yeah then the rest of awards, then pictures, then we could leave. so just got home...and i have to do that chem review packet:(, take a shower..attempt to straighten my hair but i really dont feel like it so well see. and then relax before school...a new semester starts tomorrow!! im so proud of 6th period we placed 1st!!!!! we deserved it so much!!!!
