One Acts
Well, one acts was today and yesterday. Let me tell you- Amazing!!!!!! it was the best we've ever done!!! It was wonderful! I was really connected with my character, Amber, and Heather's. It was the most amzing feeling in the entire world. words can't even begin to describe it! We were really happy and satisfied. Everyone was congratualating us. It was simply wonderful. We really impressed everyone that we could in fact do this w/ a straight play.
However, it was bittersweet. We are NOT going to state. it makes no sense to me or anyone around me. They didn't pick us as one of the 'famed 4' that get to go. Unfortunately. The 3 of us were crushed when we found out. The tears flowed freely. How could they pick something else? However, what I am taking away from this experience is:
1. How I felt on stage. The amazing, electrical feeling. We acted our butts off and did better than out best. And that's all we could have done. And we performed for the AUDIENCE as always. That's what matters. And by out screaming standing ovation I can tell they were pleased. Many were crying their eyes out as well, including one of our judges. We touched peoples' lives. That is why we do what we do.
2. My new compadres: Amber & Heather. We have had to rely on each other and become very close in this process of getting into our characters. I am so glad to have had this chance for us to showcase our talent together and become good freinds.
3.Oh, yea...and did I mention we got a superior??? (hecka cha!) And there's also this little award I won called "All-Star Cast"?
