So, Saturday was the My Chem gig. I have video, lots of it, because my camera died an ugly ugly death (i'm REALLY upset about this) and it was fantastic. bebunny wrote my killjoy name - Storm Surge - on my neck and there was much clustering and chatting. ladyfoxxx has an EXCEPTIONAL concert report that is a lot more detailed and clear than mine. Also - hot. Oh my god hot. So hot that I came out of my t-shirt between The Blackout and MCR and was in just this neon green sports bra. Did you guys know that UK venues give out water at shows? They dont do that in the US you guys. It's kind of awesome. And pursuit of said water sort of seperated me from the group and suddenly I'm in the pit and I can't even see my girls anymore /o\ Ooops. That said? Awesome awesome AWESOME fucking gig. Gerard Way. You are a ridiculous adorable human being and I love you. Please continue to make sex noises and high kick and make jazz hands for the rest of time. Love me. The video will be up *waves a hand* at some point. Probably when I go over to Fox's and steal her decent internet.
In other news - I AM MAKING PROGRESS ON MY BANDOM BIG BANG! HOLY SHIT YOU GUYS ITS A MIRACLE! :D Also, my dramatic writing classes make my life. Seriously. I live and die for Mondays. AND AND AND! IN MARCH?! WE ARE TAKING A TOUR OF THE BBC! *points at her icon* This was me in class when our teacher told me this. Seriously. The BBC. THE BEEB! I GET TO GO ON A TOUR WITH A GUY WHO USED TO WORK FOR THEM! HOW AMAZING IS THAT YOU GUISE?!
In news of things that are awesome, my mother has recently made friends with one of the DJ of the Atlanta alternative radio stations. She's awesome that way. The two of them bonded over the value of fatherhood and how she plays Muse for her 9 and 10 year old ESOL students. He calls her The Muse Teacher on the radio. Isn't she cute? Anyway, so she was talking to him yesterday and My Chemical Romance came up - as it does and my mother, ever the soldier for the cause, was like "My daughter saw them in London Saturday! She's going to see them in Manchester next Friday and then somewhere else on Saturday." and apparently he was like wow, I wish I was her, to which my mother said "We all wish we were her." which is cute. But then the DJ said "I don't know what we're doing when My Chem comes to Atlanta but the station always has something so give me a call when we get closer to May and I'll try and get you guys in."

MY MOTHER LADIES AND GENTLEMAN. HOW FUCKING AWESOME IS THAT? ANSWER? VERY FUCKING AWESOME. It may not work out but seriously, this station does like...live sessions for small groups of like 50 people? IF THIS WORKS OUT I WILL ACTUAL FAX DIE OF JOY. NO REALLY. So. Yeah. I had to share.
