So, I'd say the Providence show was hands down my favorite. The first one was special and the third had this crazy energy but the second was as close to perfect as an experience as I can have at a concert/day. The show was close and we go their early for the
icecreamhdaches meet up.
You guys. You guys, fangirls in one space? Always always always a good thing. I stayed down towards the emptier side of the able and made friends with
canadiancracka and
seedyapartment and other lovely people whos names are escaping me because I waited way too fucking long to make this post /o\ It was fun though. There was a real live boy there and everything! I believe he was insomnia mod's brother? Doesnt matter. It counts as a boy. He lead us on a merry chase though downtown Providence to Club Hell and you guys - IDK if you know this buy its fucking COLD in Rhodes Island. I love the cold but my wardrobe is just not prepared. There was a massive snuggly ICH groupcuddle outside while we waited. For warmth. And also because snuggles are generally awesome.
Then we got inside and I kind of crashed out, meaning I climbed onto one of the two raised up platforms and promptly took a nap. Yeah, I dont know either. My stamina is like a 103 year old lady rather than a 23 year old girl. But I got my shit together and got off my ass by the time Hey Champ came on.
Somewhere in there,
mrsronweasley and
brooklinegirl appeared looking exactly like they do in their pictures all adorable, gorgeous ladywives out on the town. I love meeting people I know on LJ you guys. It's a THING for me. They were so awesome you guys. We chatted for awhile then it was time for the show and they went back down to floor level because not everyone likes to be higher up for concerts which I respect.
Of all of them, this show was my favorite personality wise. Bebe was infinitely more confident. She was excited. She talked this time and you got the feeling that she was starting to feel like this whole thing was real. I mean, if I were her, I'd have died of surreality ages ago.
And Pete. Pete you guys. Pete motherfucking Wentz who was happy to see dads at the back of the crowd because his dad did that for him when he was playing. He is so happy to be a parent you guys. He is just... *hands* he's thrilled and it melts my heart. Anyway, they also played a song in Providence they didnt play anywhere else called Fools Gold. Yeah. Mostly I took video at this gig. But there were lots of pictures to. So, after nearly 3 weeks - have a pic and video spam of lovely music and Pete being fucking darling. He talks about broadcasting from the "basement of the house but you forget that there's a party going on upstairs." You guys he still has it. I love it and I love him.

AND NOW PICTURES! HAVE SOME!
And then there was after the show. Fuck the haters you guys - Pete Wentz is amazing to his fans. A-mazing. Ridiculous and awesome in every way and I am sure you've read this in all the reports that people got up long before I did but, fuck, he's awesome and I love him.He stays and talks to people without rushing them away. He takes pictures and wants to talk about things - like actual things not just oh yay you liked the show.
While I was waiting for my turn, I was standing with (or rather directly in front of and leaned back against)
solar_cat/Frankie. She and I had both decided to wear our Mikey Fuckin Way shirts to the show because, well, we're dorks and we have our tin hats surgically grafted to our skulls. Anyway, Pete looks up and sees me, blinks and goes "Hell yeah Mikey fuckin Way!" So. Yes. *adjusts the spike atop the tin hat*
When it was my turn, I asked him to sign the shirts I made. He did and then he asked me how I did it - specifics. So I broke it down for him, how I printed it out and cut out the stencil and painted over it and then ironed the paint on so it would stay in the wash. And he listened and when I was done said "Wow that's awesome. You're like a Boy Scout how you did that. Sorry, Girl Scout. Whatever," like it was the same thing (which its not because Girl Scouts dont have issues with gay members because thats what Juliette Lowe would do). He's a dork andI love him. I told him that it was the first time I'd been inspired to do something artistic on my own in about ten years and it was just one more way he'd helped me fix myself. And he sort of stared at me and then gave me a hug which is hug number 3. He took a picture with me too but that is sort of less important. It is, however, very cool. Fourth wall? What fourth wall?
Then I went over and talked to Bebe who was getting far less attention than she deserved mostly because Miz wasnt up in her grill being all "omg I am so in love with you" which you must see in person if you can. It's hilarious and adorable and Miz's eyes get all big with love and its awesome. But she recognized me and was SUPER EXCITED to talk to me. SHE WORE MY SHIRT ON THE BUS YOU GUYS! SHE LOVED IT AND SAID IT WAS COMFORTABLE AND PRETTY AND WAS REALLY HAPPY THAT I MADE IT FOR HER! She also wanted to know how I made it but was more excited to tell me about how she was wearing it right up until she got changed for the show. My heart you guys. My heart, Bebe Rexha has it.
She just seemed like she was having so much fucking fun. The back area had booths and yet she sorta climbed on top of the merch table to sign things and talk to people. She and Nate were photobombing people taking pictures with Pete and just being generally ridiculous. I feel like there is something about a Pete-contained tour that inspires people to act like 9 year olds because Bebe was totally juvenile in the best possible way. I like being around people having fun and she definitely was. Pete was busy being mobbed so mostly after that so I stood back and took some pictures until it was mostly
icecreamhdaches people left. But, I got pictures that gives you a way better idea of the lay of the land. Also, close up of some of Pete's tattoos if you're into that. :D Also, there's video. Pete and two girls are talking about the New York Secret Show(you know the one with Mikey and all the face touching from Joe) and I couldn't hear so I recorded it. And Pete noticed was slightly O.O and I was like "um, I heard you talking about the show and I just... I cant hear so video?" It's awkward but there if you want to watch it. And then there was the ICH group shot with Pete? I think Miz posted it on her recap but it will never not be hilarious so I included it. :D
This is my favorite - because he's got the Nightmare sleeve slung around this girl's Nightmare hoodie and its just...very amusing to me.
(he kinda looks demonic in the last picture - very A Little More Sixteen Candles)

Somewhere in all this? Frankie wandered outside to have a smoke. The opening act, Hey Champ did too. I left not long after that but Frankie stayed and got baked with Hey Champ. I mean, really you guys. Really really baked. Toasted even. On the walk home, she and I sat in the back seat and I half fell asleep on her while we listed to Folie A Deux. I was periodically woken up by Frankie proclaiming that songs on the ablum sounded "like reggae you guys oh my god" and "This is total eighties power rock." O.o Oh so high. It was hilarious. And then we went home and went to bed so that we could wake up to travel(and mock Frankie mercilessly) the next day.
