I havent been able to post but I have something this time, for fucking serious. I managed to get a pass to the first US screening of Quentin Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds this morning. It's part of a very large story. But I was part of a group of about 200 people who saw it for the first time in America.

Also a part of that group of 200 - NYTimes Film Critic Elvis Mitchell, former hobbits Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan, and star of the film Eli Roth.

And it was so very much a FILM rather than a movie. And an EPIC film. It rides the roller coaster of emotions beautifully and just, oh Quentin, I'm so happy for you. It was just....fuck. I'll write a more articulate review when I havent been awake 21 hrs straight! Promise. There's just too much to do it justice.

And Eli, oh my god! Hot. Hot hot HOT in real life. No, seriously. He's a grade A slice of jewish boy ass. Where are the jewish boys like him HIDING. Seriously? And ripped!

Shallowness aside, of everyone today, he blew me away with how incredibly fucking decent and personable and NICE he is to his fans. He could be the douchiest douche ever in his personal life, I dont know, but that man CARES about the people who goes to see movies he's in and what they think. He stayed and signed posters/notepads/entry passes and took pictures and TALKED to literally everyone as they came out of the theater. He told stories(that I'll relate tomorrow) and teased and was just genuinely lovely. I was flabbergasted by the guy he is IRL. You'd never think Hostel I and II came out of him.

So yeah - Inglorious Basterds. Amazing and the experience was kind of special as hell. And thats just the last of many many highlights from today!

Love you guys! More tomorrow and monday, pictures especially! And there are fun pictures, promise.

eli roth omg be more adorable, comiccon
