I LOVE MY LJ FAMILY!

So, ionaonie came up to London today and holy fuck, we had way too much fun. Seriously, we're bad girls. :D

Okay, not that bad. But we definitely had a top time. We bounced around between where I live in Bloomsbury over towards Soho. We ducked into the Coffee, Cake and Kink coffee shop because I'm looking for some...uh...texts. But its a fun place and I love to show people this cool little niche in busy London.

From there we decided, ya know what'd be fun? If we went and saw a play. So we contemplated Hairspray but by the time we got to Leicester Square, we'd kind of shifted and we ended up going to Jersey Boys instead. Of course, we had to walk to the theater to do that. SO out of the way. But still - fun times. We had fantastic seats - balcony but still awesome.

From there we went to Forbidden Planet which is the big cult shop off Shaftsbury Av. Basically, you take two geeky girls and put them in TWO STORIES of scifi/fantasy/horror dorkery and stand back. We were there for a LONG time. Omg, too much freaking stuff I want. That store could easy become my drug.

Then we went to meet up for dinner with her brother at the Plough.

I bring everyone to the Plough, guys. I brought hexapuma and I brought Paul and now I've dragged ionaonie as well. I dont know why yall. It's just... my place. Dont know why but I like it there. Its strange but hey, thats how it is :D

After that, we headed back over to the theater and stopped at this AMAZING patisserie that had the most obscene desserts i've ever had. I'm convinced theres drugs in the crust. Not kidding.

And then? Jersey Boys. It is NOT the best musical I've ever seen. That said? It was a hell o f a lot of fun and Iona was the right gal to go see it with. Our brains function similarly making for dorky glee. It had a concert-y vibe and the direction really leant itself to that vibe. Plus, now I like...crave Frankie Valli music.

Then I got home and my flatmates were having a party and were well on their way to fucked up along with another 10 people so I went and hung out in the computer lab instead. Which was lovely. I made some friends with the kids in the International Affairs programs and it was a MUCH more pleasant way to spend the evening.

Tomorrow - Laundry. Then Sunday - Paul. Its serious good times. :D
