Oh, so Mavet had some sort of freaky crush on John and now on Rodney? Interesting. Again, I don't know much about goaul'd(like for instance where the appostrophe goes *g*)so I don't know how much connection they have with the hosts normally, but yeah, this gives it a nice slant.

John's story about his broken arm was heartbreaking.

I love Mavet the wrist grabbing thing being Mavet, and the slipping out of character-he's so cocky it's nice to see the little errors, that make him more-well not human-but real.

You're going to make me cry. It's horrendous, this combination of rape and complicity in rape that Mavet is forcing upon John. I've been expecting this turn of events since John was first possessed, but it's no less painful for that.

I'm contemplting scenarios in which Mavet would be unable to avoid Caldwell. Because someone needs to save John.
